The Game
Welcome to the Golden Boot game, a unique free for fun fantasy football game based on goal scorers in the English Premier League. The game is totally free to play and you can win great prizes.
In the Golden Boot Game you pick eight strikers from the English Premier League each week. You also rank your selected strikers in order, one to eight. For each goal striker one scores your team gets 8 points; for each goal striker two scores your team gets 7 points and so on until striker eight who gets your team one point every time he scores. The team with most points wins.
Season 2014 - 2015
Dates
This will be the twelfth season of the Golden Boot game. The season will start on the first day of the Premier League season, Saturday 16th August 2014. The final matches of the Premier League season will be played on Sunday 24th May 2015 and these matches are the last to count towards the Golden Boot game season 2014 - 2015.
Registration
You can register to play season 2014 - 2015 of the Golden Boot game from Friday 1st August 2014. If you have played the game before you will still need to re-register for the new season. In the meantime please bear with us while we prepare the web site for season 2014 - 2015 of the Golden boot game.
Prizes
Once again in season 2014 -2015 the champions will receive a 7 night holiday in Cornwall (accommodation only) for winning the Golden Boot game. There is also a second prize of fifty pounds worth of Amazon Vouchers while additional Spot Prizes will be awarded at various points throughout the season. Season 2012 - 2013
The Golden Boot game 2013 - 2014 season ended with the final matches of the 2013 - 2014 Premier League season on Sunday 11th May 2014.
Spartak Gringley won the Golden Boot game season 2013 - 2014 championship with Haxey Hoodlums taking the Runners Up prize. Congratulations to both teams on winning the prizes.
The 2013 - 2014 season Spot Prizes were won by Haxey Hoodlums (Quantum Accelerator), Superstar (Cross-Country), Spartak Gringley (Medals Table), Bury Wanderer (Keirin), S11 Yarra City Spartans (Total Goals) and finally Partysanne Gringley (Final Five).
